LARK arranged for The Telegraph to review Roomzzz Aparthotel, Manchester City.
Below are extracts of the review – courtesy of The Telegraph
Who Stays: ‘A younger, hip leisure crowd – typically aged 25 to 35 – enjoy the boutique feel of this aparthotel at weekends and business guests of all ages book in for longer stays during the week.’
Style: ‘The Grade II listed building is full of character, with enormous windows, exposed metal beams and high ceilings. A bold colour scheme – including yellow-carpeted corridors with black-papered walls – and touches of the Orient (the hotel is next to Chinatown) make the place stand out as a stylish retreat.’
Rooms: ‘Each of the 48 apartments is unique and quirky – some have his-and-hers showers or sinks, four-poster beds or a Jacuzzi. You don’t have to stay in a suite for a touch of luxury: even some of the entry-level “smart studios” have four-posters, and all rooms have a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and hob, free Wi-Fi and an Apple Mac computer as standard.’
Overall Score: 9/10
